In 1989, Neila and Mark Brownstein sent us pictures of themselves standing in front of the Pyramid of Chefron in Giza, Egypt, Mark debonairly attired in a Moody's Diner T-shirt. Mark wrote that a man approached him, saying, "Excuse me, but I have to introduce myself to anyone wearing a Moody's Diner T-shirt in Egypt." No doubt the man wanted to be associated with people of the Brownsteins' obvious good taste.
We thought the photo was fun and published it in the original edition of our cookbook. Apparently lots of other folks thought it was fun too, as we started receiving vacation photos of customers clad in Moody's Dinerware all around the world. *
We display these photos on the walls of the Diner!

Out of concern for the safety of our customers, staff and the general public, our present circumstances are demanding a more prudent and cautious approach to the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, Moody's will be closed for two weeks beginning at 8am Tuesday March, 17. Our plan will be to reopen on Wednesday April 1 at 5am. This is not a joke.
My encouragement to you all is to not fear but be wise. No one can predict tomorrow, but today we must be cautious. Moody's will make further updates on our Facebook page and our website. Thank you for your understanding and patience. My prayer and hope are for your provision, safety and a calmness of soul during these uncertain days.
May God bless you!
