History of
Aunt 'Letta's House
We have debated on what to name this house - it was originally bought in 1930 and was called the "Tea Room", serving our cabin guests. Then when the diner was relocated to the new Route 1 in 1934, it became the residence of Richard & Arletta Flagg (Bertha Moody's sister), and eventually their growing family of six children. Richard and Arletta were aunt and uncle to the Moody kids, and Richard managed the farm for our Dad --- so when we went next door to visit our cousins, we told Mom we were going to Aunt 'Letta's house --- guess it just stuck and we can't call it by any other name.
